Introduction to Animals

Did you know that some cultures classified animals according to how useful or destructive they were to humans? Some animal groups were based on their roles in myths and legends. This week, we will discover how animals are classified today and learn about the relationships that exist among different groups in the animal kingdom. You also will learn how some animals, such as sponges, jellyfish, roundworms, and flatworms live and reproduce and how they are important to humans.
